Spring Night

Today the seasons change and clocks go forward, so what better time then now to revive this blog? It’s been a while, but I feel a sense of renewal that energises me to explore mediums beyond photography. A walk around Oxford helped me see this - it’s whimsicals are written on the walls if you look closely enough.

A dear friend observed that the roots of the magnolias depict a quiet lesson about growth; the roots mirror the murk that we sometimes have to walk through before seeing the light.

I think magnolias are even more beautiful at night. Their soft colours glow against the midnight canvas. Just as there is always lightness within darkness, spring inevitably comes.
